Raku is a unique low-firing ceramic process that originated in Japan in the early 1500s as ceremonial tea ware used by Zen Buddhist masters. Known for its dramatic results and spontaneous beauty. Over time, artists around the world have developed many variations of this unique firing technique.

For the past 25 years, I have been experimenting with the Raku process and have developed my own unique approach, adding a contemporary twist to this traditional method.
